Confederate monuments, as well as the Confederate flag, are bound to make any liberal aggravated, but for no good reason. These particular symbols are also enraging the BLM, due to claims Confederates had their way with slavery, supporting it and encouraging it.
However, an African-American woman called Karen Cooper, the Confederate flag is nothing but symbols of liberation from the governmental chains. Recently, she gave an interview on the subject and pointed out that the Confederate flag made her feel “more welcomed in the South.”
As Cooper stated, in the North, “they claim they like black people,” but the racism is more escalated than ever. in the South, she finally found her resort.
“I came down here, and we were more together,” she stated. “People waved to me that I’d never known!”
Get a glimpse of her interview below:
Cooper is a member of the Virginia Flaggers, a group that is described as “citizens of the Commonwealth who stand AGAINST those who would desecrate our Confederate Monuments and memorials, and FOR our Confederate Veterans.”
To Cooper, the Confederate flag should be waved since it demonstrates resistance.
“I feel I’m a slave now because the federal government does control me. I can’t smoke what I want to smoke. I can’t drink what I want to drink. If I want to put something into my body, it’s my body, not theirs,” she explained. “That’s tyranny!”
However, the liberals have nasty ways to portrait anything they don’t like as unnatural, ugly, racist, diminishing.
“I know what people think about when they see the battle flag: the KKK, racism, bringing slavery back. So I knew it would be something for people to see a black woman with the battle flag. How can it be racist if I’m out there with them?” Cooper noted.
Could the liberals think of an answer for that? I don’t think so, but we are in for some excuses for sure.
