Hollywood Producer Warns That ‘Even Considering’ Kavanaugh’s Nomination Would ‘Cement’ a Dictatorship

Joss Whedon, the entertainment mogul behind films like “Justice League” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” added his voice to the growing chorus of lament after President Donald Trump said he would nominate Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court.

Whedon is no stranger to controversy, as he’s joked about cancer survivors, called Trump’s son-in-law a “Voldemort in training,” and suggested he was grateful his mother wasn’t alive for Trump’s presidency.

His reaction to Kavanaugh was similarly inflammatory, claiming Monday that if Congress merely considered Kavanaugh’s nomination, it would “cement the first American dictatorship”:

Plenty of people responded, and it wasn’t pretty:

Whedon wasn’t the only one to incorrectly assume that a Supreme Court victory for Trump would install a dictatorship. “The View” co-host Joy Behar did the same while announcing the topic last month.

“Let’s have everybody a Republican,” she said. “The Supreme Court, the Congress, the presidency. What is that called? Dictatorship, I believe.”

This is why you should never worship anyone in Hollywood. Most are much too stupid to have any say on any issues of the world.
