Just in Time for Christmas, Melania Gets Call from Texas Hurricane Victims — She Left WH to Bring ‘Christmas Cheer’

Americans across the country have all expressed willingness to meet First Lady Melania Trump, especially vulnerable groups of people, who were looking forward to some support with Christmas celebration just weeks away. Melania was more than eager to rise to the occasions, but don’t expect to see this story in any liberal media.

First Lady Melania Trump is traveling to Texas today, December 6th, and her traveling companion is none other than Second Lady Karen Pence. It seems the flood victims are having a very difficult time recovering from the devastation, and now that it is Christmas time, it is making it so much worse.

Melania found a trustworthy co-traveler in Karen Pence, with whom she took upon this lovely chance to give back to the community.

“What Melania Trump Wants You to Do for Christmas, and How She’s Leading the Way,” a CBN News report reads.

“As Christmas and the New Year approach, I encourage people to lend their time volunteering or providing financial support to those still reeling from the hurricanes,” the first lady said, prior to her trip to Texas.

Melania is well aware the media won’t give her any credit for doing charity work just before Christmas, but they made sure to follow her each and every step, just in case she made a ‘mistake.’

What the media didn’t know, though, is the fact that Melania had her schedule all planned out, as a First Lady does, but decided to drop everything and do something worthwhile.

“The effects of the hurricane season are still being felt throughout southern portions of the United States and in Puerto Rico, and residents still need our help,” said Melania Trump in a White House statement.

“While I am heartened by the strength and resilience of those impacted by the storms, I will continue doing all that I can to lend a voice and shine a spotlight on those who need assistance to rebuild and start new family traditions. As Christmas and the New Year approach, I encourage people to lend their time volunteering or providing financial support to those still reeling from the hurricanes.”

Karen pence shed light on her joining Melania on this very special trip.

“Our hearts are encouraged by the people of Texas and their continued enthusiasm to help each other pick up the pieces and rebuild after Hurricane Harvey,” said Mrs. Karen Pence. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to accompany the First Lady in Texas and to visit with families and their children in the communities most impacted by the storm. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the people of Texas.”

The trip was essentially Melania’s idea, who felt this is the best time to bring the community closer together and help in any way possible, so everyone can look forward to a merry Christmas.

Here is what’s on the visit agenda for Melania and Karen:

“Mrs. Trump and Mrs. Pence will first go to Corpus Christi to meet with first responders who are a part of the Hurricane Harvey recovery effort. The two will then travel to Rockport, Texas, to meet with a family who was left homeless by the storm. They plan to tour the site of the family’s old home and will also see the family’s manufactured housing unit provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The family will live in the unit until their home can be rebuilt,” reported CBN News.

If there is one person who knows the value of a family, it is certainly our beloved First Lady. She has done so much for children across the country already, and she made it her mission to visit at least one hospital, daycare center, a school or a shelter when traveling with President Trump.

I wonder why we have never seen Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama taking time off their schedules to go help those in need? It is pretty simple, actually – they care more about politics than the effort they put into America and its people.

It is exactly why Melania gets to hold the First Lady spot and do it justice. Honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

What do you think about Melania’s Christmas cheer agenda?

Last week, reports indicated Stefan Halper, a Cambridge professor and longtime aide to some of Washington’s most powerful figures, was outed as an FBI informant planted inside Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The New York Post writes: Halper made his first overture when he met with Page at a British symposium. The two remained in regular contact for more than a year, meeting at Halper’s Virginia farm and in Washington, DC, as well as exchanging emails. The professor met with Trump campaign co-chair Sam Clovis in late August, offering his services as a foreign-policy adviser, The Washington Post reported Friday, without naming the academic. … Days later, Halper contacted Papadopoulos by e-mail. The professor offered the young and inexperienced campaign aide $3,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to London, ostensibly to write a paper about energy in the eastern Mediterranean region. Here are a few fast facts about Halper’s history in politics. Got His Start in Nixon/Ford Years The Stanford and Oxford-educated Halper started his career in government in 1971 as a member of President Richard Nixon’s Domestic Policy Council. The foreign policy expert served as the Office of Management and Budget’s Assistant Director of Management and Evaluation Division between 1973-1974. Halper then served as an assistant to all three of President Gerald Ford’s Chief of Staffs — Alexander Haig, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney — until 1977. Accused of Leading a Spy Ring Inside Jimmy Carter’s Presidential Campaign The Reagan-Bush presidential campaign hired Halper to serve as Director of Policy Coordination in 1980 and would later be embroiled in the Debategate affair, a scandal in which CIA operatives were accused of leaking the Carter campaign’s foreign policy positions to the Republican ticket. The Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald reports: Four decades ago, Halper was responsible for a long-forgotten spying scandal involving the 1980 election, in which the Reagan campaign – using CIA officials managed by Halper, reportedly under the direction of former CIA Director and then-Vice-Presidential candidate George H.W. Bush – got caught running a spying operation from inside the Carter administration. The plot involved CIA operatives passing classified information about Carter’s foreign policy to Reagan campaign officials in order to ensure the Reagan campaign knew of any foreign policy decisions that Carter was considering. Halper also worked as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs during President Ronald Reagan’s first term. Had a Stint as a Bank Executive In 1984, Halper was chairman of three financial institutions — National Bank of Northern Virginia, Palmer National Bank, and George Washington National Bank. White House official Oliver North wired loaned funds from the Palmer National Bank to a Swiss bank account, which were later used to aid the contras. Believed Hillary Clinton Would Be a Better Steward for U.S.-UK Relations In March 2016, Halper told Russia’s Sputnik News that he believed then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would prove to be a steadier hand in preserving the “special relationship” enjoyed by the United States and Britain. “I believe Clinton would be best for US-UK relations and for relations with the European Union. Clinton is well-known, deeply experienced and predictable. US-UK relations will remain steady regardless of the winner although Clinton will be less disruptive over time,” Halper said.
