‘I Just Want to Let You Know Harvey’s a Rapist’: Lena Dunham’s Damning Email to Hillary Revealed – But She Ignored it for a Year

Hillary Clinton certainly witnessed her fair share of figures accused of sexual harassment, and we don’t mean Bill Clinton alone.

As new reports suggest, The Daily Beast founder Tina Brown and actress Lena Dunham, were among the first to react once the Harvey Weinstein drama exploded all over the media and Internet, so they did their best to appeal to Clinton’s team- but were left shocked by the unexpected response.

Dunham noted that she appealed to Hillary’s team back in March of 2016, and told her deputy communications director Kristina Schake: “I just want you to let you know that Harvey’s a rapist and this is going to come out at some point.”

“I think it’s a really bad idea for him to host fundraisers and be involved because it’s an open secret in Hollywood that he has a problem with sexual assault,” she continued.

Brown, being aware of Weinstein’s nasty background and his infamous “sleaziness with women,” said she did the same as Dunham and warned Clinton about him in 2008.

No one seems to have paid attention to any these early warnings, and Weinstein even helped Clinton organize a lavishing fundraiser just prior to the elections. The event was a Broadway night, packed with A-listers such as Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, and others.

Clinton’s communications director Nick Merrill, Schake and Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook explained how they couldn’t remember anyone warning them about Weinstein whatsoever.

Merrill issued a statement regarding the matter, saying, “We were shocked when we learned what he’d done. It’s despicable behavior, and the women that have come forward have shown enormous courage. As to claims about a warning, that’s something staff wouldn’t forget”

Dunham found it rather disturbing to see how much Weinstein and his millions influenced and helped Hillary’s campaign.

“A year and a half ago, on one of the most progressive campaigns in history, this wasn’t a problem,” Dunham said.

It is only natural for liberals to give Hillary a hall pass on this one, and pretend it never happened. As long as Harvey’s bucks got the job done with Hillary’s campaign, that was all that mattered. Hillary herself said that she wasn’t aware of Weinstein’s lifestyle, which is an odd concept if you think about how much time the two spent together.

Way back when, liberals even tried pursuing now-President Trump, who was merely a businessman at the time, to ‘make it rain’  at one of their campaigns. That should directly tell you liberals will do just about anything to get their hands on their prized cash reward, even step over their own values and boundaries.

On Wednesday, ABC’s Good Morning America didn’t feel like reporting a pretty impactful New York Times story. The story explained how Hillary Clinton learned of Harvey Weinstein ‘rapist’ tendencies but cared more about building up her campaign so she could overthrow Trump.

Knowing that GMA is co-hosted by George Stephanopoulos, who worked for Bill Clinton back in the day and befriended Hillary as well, makes sense on why liberals won’t go through with this story.

On CBS This Morning, Jericka Duncan explained, “Actress Lena Dunham confirmed to CBS News how she warned aides to Hillary Clinton last March about Weinstein’s treatment of women, saying, quote, ‘I think it’s a really bad idea for him to be involved. He has a problem with sexual assault’”

Although playing it ‘neutral’, CBS gave the story a 35 second-long attention, and then dropped it for good.

At NBC, alleged sexual abuser Matt Lauer gave the same breaking piece only 25 seconds of attention.

This ought to make everyone who favors Clinton ask themselves- is this the same woman who stood proudly and promised to protect women’s rights?

Unfortunately for them, yes it is.

Last week, reports indicated Stefan Halper, a Cambridge professor and longtime aide to some of Washington’s most powerful figures, was outed as an FBI informant planted inside Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The New York Post writes: Halper made his first overture when he met with Page at a British symposium. The two remained in regular contact for more than a year, meeting at Halper’s Virginia farm and in Washington, DC, as well as exchanging emails. The professor met with Trump campaign co-chair Sam Clovis in late August, offering his services as a foreign-policy adviser, The Washington Post reported Friday, without naming the academic. … Days later, Halper contacted Papadopoulos by e-mail. The professor offered the young and inexperienced campaign aide $3,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to London, ostensibly to write a paper about energy in the eastern Mediterranean region. Here are a few fast facts about Halper’s history in politics. Got His Start in Nixon/Ford Years The Stanford and Oxford-educated Halper started his career in government in 1971 as a member of President Richard Nixon’s Domestic Policy Council. The foreign policy expert served as the Office of Management and Budget’s Assistant Director of Management and Evaluation Division between 1973-1974. Halper then served as an assistant to all three of President Gerald Ford’s Chief of Staffs — Alexander Haig, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney — until 1977. Accused of Leading a Spy Ring Inside Jimmy Carter’s Presidential Campaign The Reagan-Bush presidential campaign hired Halper to serve as Director of Policy Coordination in 1980 and would later be embroiled in the Debategate affair, a scandal in which CIA operatives were accused of leaking the Carter campaign’s foreign policy positions to the Republican ticket. The Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald reports: Four decades ago, Halper was responsible for a long-forgotten spying scandal involving the 1980 election, in which the Reagan campaign – using CIA officials managed by Halper, reportedly under the direction of former CIA Director and then-Vice-Presidential candidate George H.W. Bush – got caught running a spying operation from inside the Carter administration. The plot involved CIA operatives passing classified information about Carter’s foreign policy to Reagan campaign officials in order to ensure the Reagan campaign knew of any foreign policy decisions that Carter was considering. Halper also worked as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs during President Ronald Reagan’s first term. Had a Stint as a Bank Executive In 1984, Halper was chairman of three financial institutions — National Bank of Northern Virginia, Palmer National Bank, and George Washington National Bank. White House official Oliver North wired loaned funds from the Palmer National Bank to a Swiss bank account, which were later used to aid the contras. Believed Hillary Clinton Would Be a Better Steward for U.S.-UK Relations In March 2016, Halper told Russia’s Sputnik News that he believed then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would prove to be a steadier hand in preserving the “special relationship” enjoyed by the United States and Britain. “I believe Clinton would be best for US-UK relations and for relations with the European Union. Clinton is well-known, deeply experienced and predictable. US-UK relations will remain steady regardless of the winner although Clinton will be less disruptive over time,” Halper said.
