NFL’s center Michael Bennett made the aware decision to sit through the national anthem prior to a Seattle Seahawks game, with defensive end Cliff Avril joining Bennett on the bench by the end of the song.

This is the third time Bennett has done the very same thing and disobeyed pleas from his coach to reconsider his disrespect towards the national anthem. Bennett warned that won’t be standing anytime soon, “until I see equality and freedom.”

Bennett first sat through the anthem ever since the “Unite the Right” rally took place in Charlottesville, Virginia:
“I want to be able to use this platform to continuously push the message … of how unselfish you can be as a society. How we can continuously love one another and understand that people are different, and just because they’re different, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t like them. Because they don’t smell the way you smell and they don’t eat what you eat, because they don’t pray to the same god that you pray to, doesn’t mean that you should hate them.”
All protests were a direct result of Colin Kaepernick’s behavior during season 2016. Having in mind the fact that no team wants to sign him yet, the protests seemed like an appropriate idea to liberals. In Chicago, two bars refused to air games, should Colin Kaepernick be signed for the upcoming season.
Well, that might have sent a message, but these anti-patriots don’t seem to understand subtle (or direct for that matter) hints.
