Many Hollywood liberals snapped at President Trump’s latest ban, preventing transgender individuals from serving the U.S. army. After news of the ban broke, liberal celebrities suddenly showed interest in the transgender community. Such is the case with singer Lady Gaga,w ho thought it would be wise to address the matter on Twitter, by stating a statistic that had everyone else assured that Trump did the correct thing.
Confronting Lady Gaga after her reckless tweet was J.R. Salzman, a veteran who served the military for years back.
Here is what the singer wrote:
“@Potus Sincerely, did you know of the group you singled out today, 45% of them ages (18 to 24) have attempted suicide already?”

Naturally, liberals went crazy for the tweet, reposting it and hearting it thousands of times.
And although Lady Gaga didn’t lie about the aforementioned fact, there is something to be said that exact statement.
“So your solution is to give them a weapon, and send them off into combat where lives depend on mental and emotional stability under stress?” he said.

Could we trust individuals who are emotionally unstable to go out and protect this country? Could we feel safer, knowing that people are facing awful psychological illnesses and are not reliable in the first place? Salzman definitely made a fair point in this case, and Gaga needs to rethink her stance on this one.
Let’s remember what veteran David French from The National Review stated, “The military has to make hard choices on the basis of odds, probabilities, and centuries of hard-earned experience. Our national existence — ultimately, our very civilization — depends on getting those answers right.”
It must be easy being a celebrity and never having to worry about your country’s safety, right? How about if we looked things from a different angle- not so bright and shiny, huh?
