An illegal alien was arrested and charged with a brutal rape and attempted murder of a woman in the sanctuary jurisdiction of Montgomery County, Maryland — at least the fourth rape charge against an illegal alien in the area in less than a month.
Kevin Mendoza, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, was arrested this week after he allegedly attacked a woman in Silver Spring, Maryland, brutally raped her — which police said was captured entirely on surveillance footage — and then attempted to murder her, according to police.
Police reports obtained by ABC 7 News’s Kevin Lewis reveal the brutality of the alleged attack, rape, and attempted murder by Mendoza. On August 16, the victim told police she was getting groceries and dry cleaning out of the trunk of her car to bring inside her apartment when she noticed Mendoza following her in the parking lot.

While attempting to get back inside her apartment complex, the illegal alien threw her to the ground, according to the victim, punched her multiple times in the head, and began to strangle her. At this point, the victim said she felt her pants and underwear being pulled down to her ankles as Mendoza got on top of her.
While raping her, the victim said Mendoza pulled her shirt down, began to kiss her breasts, and told her, “You know you like this,” as he kissed her on the lips. The victim said she started negotiating with the illegal alien to attempt to get him to stop raping her, offering him money and even her car at one point.
Following the rape, the woman locked herself in her apartment, called the police, and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors told police that the injuries to the victim’s neck due to the strangling could have easily killed her.
Three days after the alleged rape and attempted murder, Mendoza turned himself over to police. The Montgomery County Police Department has yet to provide details of the illegal alien’s bond information.
The alleged rape and attempted murder is at least the fourth rape charge against an illegal alien in less than a month in Montgomery County — an ardent sanctuary county that shields criminal illegal aliens from deportation by federal immigration officials.
The last case in Montgomery County involved two illegal aliens, one of whom is from El Salvador, allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl on separate occasions, Breitbart News reported. One of the illegal aliens had been ordered deported but never left the U.S. The other illegal alien had already been deported and had returned back to the sanctuary county.
