Following Hurricane Harvey, Texans began the recuperating process. The state was affected by severe floods and storms, leaving many evacuated, relocated or stranded in their homes. The Category 4 hurricane brought devastation to the region rarely seen ever before.
Texasns, however, remained composed, gathered and collected during the crisis, leaving no stone unturned until everyone was brought to safety. The humanity expressed during these troubling times was more than noticeable.
Many stories have left their mark on the horrendous experience, one of which involves a Texas woman Jennifer Lopez Fuller.
Fuller works as a food writer and foodie in Houston. She has been kind enough to donate food, which was delivered wherever it was needed the most. Just last week, she posted photos of the help operation, capturing empty racks in Walmart, which is where she was shopping.
Many products, including fish, meat, chips, salads, and sodas have been already donated:
She commented: “Looks like there aren’t too many vegetarians around here….”

Random acts of kindness always manage to bring tear-jerking emotions out of Americans, so it’s natural to take pride in stories such as this one.
Let’s be humans, let’s be open-minded, let’s be there for our fellow Americans and keep them in our prayers!
