Aloof Packers Quarterback, Initiator of Arm-Locking Protests, Bashes Trump in Latest Press Conference [VIDEO]

Some NFLers just never learn. Such is the case with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who cannot get a grip on what it means to boycott the national anthem.

Fans of the team stood united against him last week, as he pleaded the team supporters to come out to the game and lock arms as the players intended to do the same.

This cause a revolt so big, that some fans swore off the team forever,  torching their gear and protesting the protests.

Rodgers tried to mend things by offering police officers tickets to the game, but this changed nothing for the fans. Even more, fans of the team began chanting ‘USA!, USA!’ once the arms locking tactic began.

Rodgers then complained that some fans condemned his idea to boycott the anthem as the tune commenced playing.

“What’s disrespectful to the anthem?” he asked at a press conference. “Yelling things during it or standing at attention with arms locked facing the flag?”

NFL’s profits of selling game tickets dropped by 17 percent, a number that will continue to decrease as long as the behavior continues.

Rodgers, on the other hand, is not giving up and is actually becoming one of the protests’ pillars.

On Thursday, he continued his Trump-bashing practice at a press conference after the game.

“As much as some people want us to just shut up and play football,” he said, dismissing the president’s words. “Sports and politics have always intersected.”

“It’s never been about the national anthem, it’s never been about the military,” he said and noted he and his teammates were “all patriotic.”

“This is about something bigger than that: an invitation to show unity in the face of some divisiveness from the top in this country,” he said.

Rodgers, a man who did nothing but play football for this country, cannot get a grasp on how it feels to serve your country properly. Even as an athlete alone, he wasn’t brought up believing in the same principles we, patriots, cherish and respect.

It is safe to say he is in for a lot of upcoming trouble. “I am so ashamed of and appalled by the ignorance of any NFL player who would dare disgrace our Stars and Stripes or the memory of hundreds of thousands of fallen U.S. heroes who paid with their lives so that we may live free,” he told the GreenBay Press-Gazette.

“I am so ashamed of and appalled by the ignorance of any NFL player who would dare disgrace our Stars and Stripes or the memory of hundreds of thousands of fallen U.S. heroes who paid with their lives so that we may live free,” he spoke.

“My allegiance to our American flag and to our national anthem will always stand far above any loyalty to the NFL or to the Green Bay Packers organization,” he finished.

I see a storm coming, but Rodgers doesn’t seem to know it yet.
