In time of the 2016 presidential campaign, the media and the public paid attention to details, and it seemed there was not a thing that went unnoticed. One of those things is the fact that President Donald Trump used to stand behind presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on many of the joint events and debates.
Although he was merely giving her the space to express herself, the media took it the wrong way (as always) and found the move slightly “creepy”:

Not too long ago, Hillary announced the release of her new book, “What Happened,” in which she is now apparently opening up on this little ‘phenomena.’
This is not OK, I thought. It was the second presidential debate and Donald Trump was looming behind me.
We were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces. It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled.
Of course, the media were only looking to grab onto something and hold for dear life:

Still, Clinton’s critics didn’t leave anything to coincidence:

Now you know how we felt about you, Give back all you stole.

I don’t think she was looking forward to this.
This goes to show that manipulations were never taken lightly in America.
